Gone

is the old-school, 

coffee making,

office-slaving,

husband’s

credit-card-borrowing 

girl.

 

“Girl” is reborn with the

vigor and spontaneity of

female adolescence.

 

It’s usage is a defiant 

celebration

of a word formerly fraught 

with oppression
